PayPal Introduces Service to Convert Cryptocurrencies into Dollars

Payments giant PayPal has just added a new service that allows users to convert digital assets into US dollars directly through wallets.

As a result, the platform now supports two-way transfers of crypto assets.

The company had previously added the ability to buy cryptocurrencies with fiat money through On Ramp.

According to the announcement, the new service is available for cryptocurrency wallets, NFT marketplaces and decentralized applications.

Businesses and developers can contact PayPal to add on ramp support to their platforms. In return, the payments giant pledges to provide “robust security controls and tools for fraud management, chargebacks and disputes.”

PayPal has previously added the ability to buy, sell and transfer cryptocurrencies through its mobile app.
