FTX US Opens Stock Trading to All Customers

Customers of the US division of crypto exchange FTX can now access classic stock trading following the completion of beta testing conducted among a limited circle of users.

In addition, the platform has promised to add options trading in the future. However, no specific date for this has been given.

FTX US does not charge fees for stock transactions and does not use the practice of “order flow payment.”

The parent company’s CEO, Sam Bankman-Fried, has indicated that at the initial stage, the exchange will not receive revenue from the service. In doing so, the platform is looking to expand its customer base and increase its holdings.

FTX US CEO Brett Harrison has said:

“If we can perfect this product during this period of slow trading volume for retail, if and when the volume picks up again, we’d be able to capitalize that opportunity.”
